In this summer film, I wanted to capture the simplistic moments: the little things in life that fuel my heart and soul. At 18, I am experiencing a bittersweet, reminiscent feeling towards leaving my childhood behind and moving onto the next chapter in life. The letter at the beginning of the film touches on living in the present moment and enjoying the time I have with the people I choose to surround myself with. I am one to have a camera in my hand at all times but I also recognize when it is important for me to ditch the camera and be present in life. All in all, creating and capturing memories that I can look back on ten years from now is something super special to me. In a way, this film is a letter to my 28 year old self too, so she can remember all the good times she had when she was a teenager.
