jessica is the creator of wip and current editorial director. she’s 18 years old and is from vancouver, but is currently based in montreal for school. she is majoring in life sciences and minoring in political science and management at mcgill university. jessica hopes to be in biotech/pharma, but finds the creativity of art and design to be the perfect escape from the technicality of science. she started wip to give local youth creatives a platform and community to showcase their work and meet like-minded youth. she is a pretty typical aquarius… open to your interpretation. when jessica is not working on wip or school, she can be found going thrifting, reading philosophical fiction, organizing her spotify playlists, and going on overthinking walks while listening to politics/ethics podcasts.

nisha is a rising senior at eric hamber secondary and is glad to be starting as the creative director at wip! Her favourite forms of artistic expression are photography, graphic design, ceramics, and sculpture. As a resident night owl, she can often be found hunched over at her desk in the dark, vibing out to lofi and editing photos till the birds start chirping. She is also a chronic baker and has decided that using up the town's flour supply can fix her procrastination problems. If she’s not doing spontaneous photoshoots in the rain or taking her daily 4 hour nap, she can also be found in a blanket fort somewhere, binging anime or crying over the second lead in whatever kdrama she has been watching. Nisha is ecstatic to be working with the wip team and hopes to bring something cool and fun to the issues coming up this year!

aneri is a dreamy pisces who is passionate about art, film, fashion, and loves reading books. She's the kind of person whom you'd find in the art store fussing over the right shade of blue and yellow, and the stranger in the YA section of a bookstore recommending you books. When she’s not cramming in high school or romanticizing her life, you may find her eating snacks and grooving to Mitski or Lorde. You may also find her trekking on Indian peaks and serving comedy and satire to her friends. She has recently retired from taking grainy pictures of wandering cats and taken up clicking pictures of the most random things (except herself).
